Soccer Recap: Swansea Takes a Loss

After soaring to ten goals the game before, Swansea was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They fell 3-1 to the Midland Valley Mustangs. Swansea were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Midland Valley earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Swansea's goal came courtesy of Allisson Landeverde, who's now up to seven this season.

Swansea's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Midland Valley, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-8.

Looking ahead, Swansea will be playing in front of their home fans against Silver Bluff at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Swansea will be up against Silver Bluff's rather soft defense (which has allowed 6.25 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Midland Valley, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Gilbert on the 27th.
