Basketball Recap: Christian Home Educators Comes Up Short

Christian Home Educators was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Whitewright Tigers and fell 68-30. The matchup marked the Knights' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Julian Alvarez and Caleb Snyder certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Alvarez posted nine points, while Snyder scored two points. What's more, Snyder also racked up two assists, the most he's had since back in February.

Christian Home Educators' defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Whitewright, the win keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.

Christian Home Educators didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 47-34 victory against Como-Pickton on the 14th. Whitewright will take on Trenton in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Whitewright's favor as the team sits on six straight wins at home while Trenton has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
