The Peak to Peak Pumas blew past the Denver West Cowboys 51-28 for which the team can thank Eschmeyer, who shot 60% from the field en route to 37 points along with six boards and four steals. That makes it 23 consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Peak to Peak's points.
The team also got some help courtesy of Sydney Lewis, who posted no points and three steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last three games she's played.
Shadimond Bester and Alesha Munoz certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Bester had eight points and six rebounds, while Munoz earned eight points and seven boards. The dominant performance also gave Bester a new career-high in three-point shooting accuracy (50%).
Peak to Peak's victory bumped their record up to 18-6. As for Denver West, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-11 record this season.
