Softball Recap: Woods Cross Wildcats vs. East Leopards

On East's side, Liily Maughan made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs, a triple, and an RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylee Grant, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
Even though they lost, East didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and finished the game with eight strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Woods Cross only tossed four.

As for East, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Highland at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Highland is coming into the contest with seven straight defeats on the road, meaning East will have to defend against a team hungry for a victory.
