Cherokee came tearing into Saturday's match with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the West Henderson Falcons. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 on Saturday.
Cherokee had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 13-25, 25-21, 15-7.
Joscelyn Stamper paced Cherokee's offense, picking up 16 kills. Stamper got some help from Lilly Lossiah and her 20 assists.
Maddie Pryor and Ella Collier certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Pryor had 11 digs, while Collier had two aces.

Meanwhile, West Henderson (ranked 51st) will meet East Henderson (ranked 550th) at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
