Basketball Recap: Marist Comes Up Short

Marist and Seaside squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Marist had to settle for second. They fell 54-46 to the Seaside Seagulls. The Spartans have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

Marist's loss dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Seaside, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Marist nor Seaside have any future games scheduled.
