Soccer Game Preview: Newman Catholic vs. Pacelli

The Newman Catholic Fighting Cardinals will take on the Pacelli Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Newman Catholic's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Newman Catholic lost 9-1 to Columbus Catholic on Thursday. While losing is never fun, Newman Catholic can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin soccer rankings (they are ranked 227th, while Columbus Catholic are ranked 70th).

Meanwhile, Pacelli fell victim to Fox Valley Lutheran and their airtight defense on Saturday. They came up short against the Foxes, falling 12-0.

Newman Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Pacelli, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-10.
