Baseball Recap: Stevenson Comes Up Short

Stevenson came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Saline Hornets, falling 11-1. The Spartans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Hornets earlier this season, when they won 6-5.

Stevenson saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tasso Kotsogiannis, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base.

Stevenson's loss dropped their record down to 15-17-1. As for Saline, their victory bumped their record up to 18-7-1.

Looking ahead, Stevenson will face off against Northville at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Saline, they will take on Skyline at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
