The Trojans fell just short of the Breakers by a score of 4-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Trojans have suffered since May 21, 2024.
Meanwhile, Greenfield waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Eagles.
Nate Trujillo spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits and racked up nine Ks.
At the plate, Greenfield saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kenny Pajas, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.
