Baseball Game Preview: Auburn Trojans vs. Mt. Rainier Rams

The Auburn Trojans will venture away from home to take on the Mt. Rainier Rams at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Auburn's hitters haven't had much luck over their past five matchups, but Tuesday's contest will give them a chance to turn things around.

Auburn came up short against Auburn Riverside on Tuesday, falling 8-2.

Auburn saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was CJ Baxter, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.

Meanwhile, Mt. Rainier fell victim to Tahoma and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Bears by a score of 2-0. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mt. Rainier's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Auburn, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-9.
