Monrovia kept a clean sheet against Western Boone on Wednesday. They blew past the Stars 8-0. The result was nothing new for Monrovia, who have now won eight games by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Western Boone from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Nellie Standeford led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for four goals all by herself.

Monrovia has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 64 goals over those nine matches. As for Western Boone, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.
