Foundation Christian Academy had won six straight games dating back to last season and Tristan Cornish did his part to make it seven on Friday. Foundation Christian Academy breezed past Bell Creek Academy to the tune of 44-12 for which the team can thank Cornish, who rushed for 115 yards and a pair of TDs on only ten carries. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 72 yards.

The team also got some help courtesy of Jonathon Sawicky, who picked up 34 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making four total tackles (1.5 for loss) and defending one pass.

Foundation Christian Academy's defense made their presence known, laying out Wesley Fannin. three times. Joshua Hight was especially locked on to Bell Creek Academy's QB and sacked him twice. Hight also put up a rushing touchdown, which was his first of the season.

Despite the defeat, Bell Creek Academy had strong showings from Fannin, who threw for 150 yards and a pair of TDs, and Kyle Valdes, who gained 67 total yards and a touchdown. An impressive showing, but Valdes really ramped things up playing D: he made eight total tackles and defended four passes.

Foundation Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Bell Creek Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Foundation Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 18-12 loss against Academy at the Lakes on the 18th. As for Bell Creek Academy, they have also already played their next matchup, a 51-12 defeat against Donahue Catholic on the 26th.
