Recap: Rejoice Christian Eagles vs. Lincoln Christian Bulldogs
The Rejoice Christian Eagles suffered their biggest defeat since December 12, 2023 on Friday. Their rough 56-32 defeat to Lincoln Christian might stick with them for a while. While losing is never fun, Rejoice Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 225th, while Lincoln Christian is ranked 22nd).
Lincoln Christian found their leader in underclassman Maddi Stewart, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Hallie Kitchen, who scored eight points.
Rejoice Christian dropped their record down to 7-8 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Lincoln Christian, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 19-3.
Rejoice Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Metro Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lincoln Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Glenpool at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Glenpool is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
