Concordia is 1-8 against Gross Catholic since April of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Mustangs will look to defend their home pitch against the Cougars at 6:00 p.m. One thing working in Concordia's favor is that they have posted at least four goals in their last four matches.

Concordia's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They blew past Omaha North 8-0. It was an even better day for Abbi Gibbs as she scored four goals for her team.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Cougars on Tuesday. While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was Gross Catholic who was credited with the win. Gross Catholic got it done in the shootout by posting three goals to Conestoga's one.

Concordia has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 29 goals over those five matches. As for Gross Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.
