Softball Game Preview: Onalaska Loggers vs. Adna Pirates

Onalaska hasn't had much luck against Adna recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. Onalaska will be playing at home against Adna at 3:00 p.m. Onalaska has given up an average of 7.5 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Onalaska lost 15-5 to Toledo on Monday. The Loggers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Adna had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They put the hurt on Pe Ell/Willapa Valley with a sharp 19-5 win. Considering the Pirates have won three contests by more than nine runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Adna's victory was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-2. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Onalaska, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.
