Recap: MTI School of Knowledge vs. Cambridge City Lincoln Golden Eagles
MTI School of Knowledge's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their 11th straight loss. They took a serious blow against Cambridge City Lincoln, falling 75-41. The result was an unpleasant reminder to MTI School of Knowledge of the 75-22 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2022.
Cambridge City Lincoln was led to victory by Evan Stuckey and Dustin Lunsford. Stuckey scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and two steals, while Lunsford scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and six assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Stuckey has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Aidan Munchel, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds.
MTI School of Knowledge's defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Cambridge City Lincoln, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 7-10 record this season.
MTI School of Knowledge will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on KIPP Legacy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cambridge City Lincoln, they will head out on the road to take on Tri at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Tri focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Friday.
