Volleyball Recap: Wayne Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Wayne can now relate to. They fell just short of the Valley Buffalos by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Buffalos this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-1 loss back in September.

Wayne has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-10 record this season. As for Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 15-13.

Wayne does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Valley, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Monticello on the 25th.
