Baseball Recap: East Lawrence Takes a Loss

East Lawrence was the 10-0 winner over Red Bay when they last played one another back in March of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The East Lawrence Eagles lost 9-1 to the Red Bay Tigers on Saturday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

East Lawrence's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Red Bay, they pushed their record up to 8-4 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Lawrence and West Morgan will meet in a classic East v. West matchup at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. East Lawrence is facing West Morgan at the right time seeing as West Morgan is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Red Bay, they will take on New Hope at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Red Bay is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.2 runs per game this season.
