Whitehorse has gone 8-2 against Monument Valley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Whitehorse Raiders will head out on the road to take on the Monument Valley Cougars at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Whitehorse is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Green River on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Whitehorse was outmatched by Green River and fell 72-43. The Raiders have struggled against the Pirates recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Kalin Tohonnie, who posted 15 points. Another player making a difference was Dominic Dance, who had eight points.

Meanwhile, Monument Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They were beaten by Escalante 89-50. The Cougars were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 51-25.

Monument Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Whitehorse, their loss dropped their record down to 9-9.

Everything came up roses for Whitehorse against Monument Valley in their previous matchup back in January, as the squad secured a 76-32 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Whitehorse since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
