Volleyball Recap: Granville Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Granville Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They came up short against the Tree of Life Christian Trojans, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Tree of Life Christian this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on September 4th.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-11, 25-12.

Tree of Life Christian can attribute much of their success to Mimi Cochran, who had five digs and two aces. That's the most aces Cochran has posted over her last seven matches.

Granville Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Tree of Life Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-8.

Granville Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Shekinah Christian on the 2nd. As for Tree of Life Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Liberty Christian Academy on the 2nd.
