Baseball Game Preview: Alexander Spartans vs. Logan Chieftains

Alexander is 0-5 against Logan since April of 2017 but things could change on Tuesday. The Spartans will host the Chieftains at 5:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

On Monday, Alexander didn't have quite enough to beat Trimble and fell 3-2.

Meanwhile, Logan fell victim to Teays Valley and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vikings. The loss continues a trend for the Chieftains in their meetings with the Vikings: they've now lost five in a row.

Logan's defeat dropped their record down to 9-15. As for Alexander, their loss dropped their record down to 9-14.
