It was a good run, but Bracken Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the John F. Kennedy Rockets by a score of 7-6.

Jack Burggraaf was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs. Bracken Christian is 6-1 when Burggraaf posts two or more runs, but 10-11 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Dalton Dresch, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Bracken Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 16-12. As for John F. Kennedy, their victory bumped their record up to 11-12.

Bracken Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for John F. Kennedy, they will be playing at home against San Antonio HomeSchool at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
