Soccer Game Preview: Falls Church vs. Edison

The Falls Church Jaguars will take on the Edison Eagles at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.

Falls Church is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Annandale last Thursday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw.

Meanwhile, Edison was not able to break out of their rough patch last Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology, falling 4-0. Edison fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology since last Thursday.

Edison's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. With that draw, Falls Church's record moves to 1-6-1.

Everything went Falls Church's way against Edison in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, as Falls Church made off with a 9-0 victory. Will the Jaguars repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
