The matchup between Westfield and Brearley on Wednesday hardly resembled the 3-1 effort from their previous meeting. The Blue Devils blew past the Bears 13-7. The result was nothing new for the Blue Devils, who have now won five matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Westfield has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Brearley, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-13.

Coming up, Westfield will challenge Columbia at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Brearley, they will be playing at home against Sayreville at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
