Kemper County took a 24-run defeat the last time they faced off against Columbus, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Kemper County narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Columbus 20-19. Considering the Wildcats' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.
