Softball Recap: South Point Pointers vs. Piketon Redstreaks
South Point barely beat Piketon the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Pointers were the clear victors by a 9-1 margin over the Redstreaks on Wednesday. The Pointers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Redstreaks, too.
Kota Copley spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on four hits.

At the plate, Saratina Jackson and Josie Kidd did most of the damage at the plate: Jackson went 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs, while Kidd went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Those four RBI gave Jackson a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Adyson Copley, who went 2-for-4 with one triple and one run.
