Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tyler HEAT). They were the clear victor by a 20-10 margin over the Slocum Mustangs on Tuesday. With that win, Tyler HEAT brought their scoring average up to 9 runs per game.
Kelly Posada made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out six batters over 2.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and five unearned) runs off two hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-5 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple.
In other batting news, John Sisco and Zayne Miller did most of the damage at the plate: Sisco scored two runs while going 2-for-3, while Miller scored three runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Austin Chamberlain was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.
