Basketball Recap: Lefors Takes a Loss

Lefors was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 80-33 loss at the hands of the McLean Tigers. While losing is never fun, the Pirates can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1157th, while the Tigers are ranked 220th).

Lefors' loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for McLean, their victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-2.

Lefors will be home for the holidays to greet Hedley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for McLean, they will head out to take on Shamrock at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Shamrock will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something McLean surely won't give up without a fight.
