Baseball Recap: Eudora Comes Up Short

Eudora lost against Ottawa on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cardinals fell just short of the Cyclones by a score of 5-4. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Eudora's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Ottawa, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-9-1 record this season.

Ottawa will head out to take on Lansing on Friday. The Lions' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Cyclones' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Eudora will be paying especially close attention to Ottawa's matchup: after Ottawa faces off against Anderson County, they'll take on Eudora again.
