Morse had lost four games straight , but after bumping their record up to 2-10 on Wednesday that streak is in the rearview. They were the clear victors by a 15-5 margin over the Gardiner Tigers. For the Shipbuilders, this counts as revenge for the 11-4 win the Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.
As for Gardiner, they dropped their record down to 3-7 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss they have suffered since April 30th.
For Gardiner's part, TARYN NICHOLS was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Another player making a difference was ABBY PRUE, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double.
