For the second straight game, Fullerton will face off against Costa Mesa. The Indians will take on the Mustangs at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. Fullerton is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.7 runs per game this season.

Fullerton took a loss when they played away from home last Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 5-2 victory over Costa Mesa. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Indians as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Declan Fitzgerald spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on two hits and racked up eight Ks.

At the plate, Logan Thien and Caleb Brown did most of the damage at the plate: Thien went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI, while Brown went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. That's the most RBI Thien has posted since back in March. Matthew Martin Tobares also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Fullerton's victory bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Costa Mesa, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-6.
