Soccer Recap: Lafayette Comes Up Short

Lafayette was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 8-0 to the Mid-Buchanan Dragons. That's two games in a row now that Lafayette have lost by exactly eight goals.

Lafayette's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Mid-Buchanan, the victory got them back to even at 9-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lafayette will host Savannah at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lafayette will need to watch out since Savannah have now posted at least four goals in their last five games. As for Mid-Buchanan, they will welcome Bishop LeBlond at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bishop LeBlond will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Mid-Buchanan surely won't give up without a fight.
