Baseball Recap: Fort Meade Comes Up Short

Fort Meade lost against Santa Fe Catholic two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Miners fell just short of the Hawks by a score of 3-1. The matchup marked the Miners' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Fort Meade saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was DeMarion Abrams, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Fort Meade's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-7. As for Santa Fe Catholic, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-3.

Fort Meade didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-3 win against Frostproof on the 2nd. As for Santa Fe Catholic, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 10-0 victory against Lake Gibson on the 2nd.
