After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Valliant, Antlers was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They secured a 60-54 W over the Tushka Tigers. The Bearcats' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Tushka lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Cleat Zike, who went 5 of 9 on his way to 19 points. That was a full 35.2% of Tushka's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tristan Gibson, who went 6 for 14 on his way to 14 points.

Antlers' win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Tushka, they dropped their record down to 2-9 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Antlers Bearcats duke it out with the Coalgate Wildcats at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Antlers is facing Coalgate at the right time seeing as Coalgate is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Tushka, they will head out to square off against Stringtown at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Tushka will also cruise into their next contest with the timing on their side: Stringtown will have lost three straight heading into Thursday's match.
