Soccer Game Preview: Lafayette vs. Southside

The Lafayette Lions will square off against the Southside Sharks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lafayette's last five matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Lafayette is returning to their home pitch after beating Alexandria on theirs, despite the fact Alexandria has dominated at home this season. Lafayette beat Alexandria by a goal, winning 2-1. That's two games straight that the Lions have won by just one goal.

Meanwhile, Southside fell victim to Barbe and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Buccaneers.

Southside's loss dropped their record down to 4-10-2. As for Lafayette, their victory bumped their record up to 8-4-6.
