Baseball Recap: West Jefferson Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for West Jefferson's offense. They came up short against the Firth Cougars on Saturday, falling 10-0. The loss leaves the Panthers still looking for their first win of the season.

West Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Firth, their win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-4.

Coming up, Firth will host Malad at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Cougars' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Dragons have averaged an impressive 7.2 runs per game this season.
