ALA - Gilbert North waltzed into their match on Thursday with 11 straight wins... but they left with 12. They put the hurt on the Crismon Rattlers with a sharp 3-0 victory.

ALA - Gilbert North not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Crismon between 14 and 17 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-14, 25-16.

Ian Walker paced ALA - Gilbert North's offense, picking up ten kills. Walker got some help from Gunner Martin and his 18 assists. Finally, Packer Monahan kept ALA - Gilbert North's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Despite the loss, Crismon still got an impressive performance from Joshua Marquez, who had 12 digs and two aces.

ALA - Gilbert North's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-2. As for Crismon, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

ALA - Gilbert North wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Estrella Foothills on the 4th. As for Crismon, they will take on ALA - Queen Creek at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Patriots will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something the Rattlers surely won't give up without a fight.
