Soccer Recap: Boaz Takes a Loss

If Boaz was riding high fresh off their 6-1 takedown of Talladega last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Boaz Pirates fell 3-1 to the Collinsville Panthers on Tuesday. The Pirates were not able to make up for their loss to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in February of 2022.

Boaz's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3-4. As for Collinsville, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 11-1-1.

Looking ahead, Boaz will take on Douglas at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Collinsville, they will welcome Geraldine at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Collinsville is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.6 goals per game this season.
