Preview: Potomac Wolverines vs. Oxon Hill Clippers
Potomac is 0-10 against Oxon Hill since February of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Potomac Wolverines will be playing in front of their home fans against the Oxon Hill Clippers at 7:15 p.m. Potomac is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
On Tuesday, Potomac took a serious blow against Surrattsville, falling 65-2. Potomac has not had much luck with Surrattsville recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Meanwhile, Oxon Hill was the victim of a rough 50-30 defeat at the hands of John Marshall on Saturday.
The losing side was boosted by Damia Worthy, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds. The match was her third in a row with at least ten points.
Potomac's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Oxon Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.
Potomac was dealt a bruising 59-13 defeat at the hands of Oxon Hill in their previous matchup back in January. The matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Potomac was down 43-7.
