Softball Recap: Republic County Buffaloes vs. Plainville Cardinals

Republic County won the last time they faced Plainville, and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Republic County Buffaloes skirted past the Plainville Cardinals 9-7. The win made it back-to-back victories for Republic County.

Republic County got a massive performance out of Hattie Brzon, who scored three runs and stole four bases while going 2-for-3. Brzon has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Frankie Snapp, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 3-for-3.

Republic County pushed their record up to 8-10 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Plainville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Republic County will be playing at home against Valley Heights at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Plainville, they will head out on the road to challenge Russell on Friday.
