Softball Recap: Everett Comes Up Short

Everett suffered their biggest defeat since April 21st on Wednesday. They lost 14-3 to the Claysburg-Kimmel Bulldogs. If the Warriors were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to the Bulldogs when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

This is the second loss in a row for Everett and nudges their season record down to 13-7. As for Claysburg-Kimmel, the win keeps they at an undefeated 21-0.

Looking ahead, Everett will challenge Southern Huntingdon County at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Rockets' pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so the Warriors' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Claysburg-Kimmel does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
