Baseball Recap: Seneca East Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Seneca East's offense. They fell 4-0 to the Margaretta Polar Bears on Thursday. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Polar Bears apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Seneca East has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-14 record this season. As for Margaretta, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-17 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Seneca East will head out to face off against Hopewell-Loudon at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Margaretta, they will venture away from home to take on Monroeville at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
