Basketball Recap: Lithonia Finds Home Court Redemption Against Tucker

There's no place like home for Lithonia, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They skirted past the Tucker Tigers 59-57. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 64-24 back in December of 2024.

Despite the loss, Tucker still got an impressive performance from Harmonie Cooper, who posted 24 points. That was a full 42.1% of Tucker's points, marking the third time in a row she's scored more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Azaria Tolen, who put up 12 points.

Lithonia's win bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Tucker, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-10.

Lithonia didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 36-28 defeat against Drew Charter on the 1st. As for Tucker, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 40-34 victory against North Springs on the 1st.
