After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Ilwaco, Ocosta was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top against Pe Ell/Willapa Valley by a score of 9-6. This was a revenge game for the Wildcats: when they faced off against Pe Ell/Willapa Valley back in March, they had to take a 9-6 defeat.

Ocosta is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for Pe Ell/Willapa Valley, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Ocosta will head out to take on Oakville at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pe Ell/Willapa Valley, they will venture away from home to square off against North Beach at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hyaks have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.85 runs per game on average), something Pe Ell/Willapa Valley will no doubt try to take advantage of.
