Football Recap: Cobyn Harbert's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Frisco over West Mesquite + How To Watch

Frisco and West Mesquite squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Frisco had to settle for second. They took a 28-24 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wranglers. The game was a 14-14 toss-up at halftime, but the Raccoons couldn't quite close it out.

Several Raccoons players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Cobyn Harbert, who threw for 202 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 72% of his passes, and also rushed for 44 yards. Jackson Voris also helped with two scores in total.

Damarian Robinson was a one-man wrecking crew For West Mesquite. as he rushed for 213 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.9 yards per carry.

Frisco's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-4. As for West Mesquite, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

Frisco does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West Mesquite, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Midlothian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
