Volleyball Recap: Delano Has No Trouble Against Jefferson

It was a proper cat-fight when Delano challenged Jefferson on Tuesday. The Tigers blew past the Jaguars 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Delano was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-20, 25-16.

Delano found their leader in sophomore Braylee Rue, who had 13 digs and two aces.

The win made it two in a row for Delano and bumps their season record up to 27-2. As for Jefferson, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-14.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, Delano and Richfield will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on the 22nd. Jefferson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
