Baseball Recap: Osceola Triumphs

Osceola had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They had just enough and edged out the Port Charlotte Pirates 3-2.

Luke Pembleton looked comfortable as he tossed four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March of 2025.

At the plate, Osceola's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Kaedyn Phillips, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Looking ahead, Osceola will host Countryside at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Port Charlotte, they will take on Northeast in a tournament on Wednesday.
