Volleyball Recap: Uniontown Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Uniontown can now relate to. They fell just short of the Cedar Vale/Dexter Spartans by a score of 2-1 on Monday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.

Uniontown actually scored more points across those three sets (67-66), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 16-25, 25-23, 25-19.

Uniontown dropped their record down to 12-23-2 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Cedar Vale/Dexter, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-17.

Uniontown wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Conway Springs on the 20th. As for Cedar Vale/Dexter, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Udall on the 20th.
