Moses Brown piles up the points against Mt. Pleasant

The Moses Brown Quakers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 25 points or more this season. They took their contest on the road on Friday with ease, bagging a 80-33 victory over Mt. Pleasant. Moses Brown's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Leading Moses Brown to victory were Jaelynn Perez and Lauren Bousquet. Perez scored 21 points, while Bousquet dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds. The matchup was Bousquet's seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Vivian Stone, who scored two points along with seven assists and five rebounds.

The victory was the fifth in a row for Moses Brown, bringing their record for this year to 6-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.6 points per game. As for Mt. Pleasant, they bumped their record down to 0-6 with that loss, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season.

Moses Brown will take on Mt. Hope at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mt. Hope will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Rhode Island Rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while Moses Brown is ranked first). As for Mt. Pleasant, they will head out on the road to face off against Cranston East at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
