Softball Recap: Fort Worth Christian Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Fort Worth Christian's offense. They lost 14-0 to the Southwest Christian School Eagles on Thursday. The Cardinals have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Fort Worth Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Southwest Christian School, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Fort Worth Christian is set to square off against their familiar foe All S at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Southwest Christian School will challenge rival Grapevine Faith Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
